Our Cambridge Examination Centre, based in Illovo, Johannesburg, offers a premium, purpose-built environment for private candidates pursuing their IGCSE, AS, or A Level qualifications. The centre features modern exam venues and a fully equipped science laboratory—ideal for both standard and practical assessments. Individual testing rooms are also available for students requiring concessions.

As part of our commitment to academic excellence, we offer:

End-to-end registration support for private Cambridge candidates
Exam preparation workshops, available in small groups or one-on-one sessions
Laboratory hire for private candidates or school groups, with the option to bring your own tutor, or work with one of our qualified facilitators (subject to availability)

Steps To Register

01. Prepare Your Documents

Before you begin the application process, kindly ensure that you have the following documents saved in PDF-Format and ready to upload onto ESCA's Registration Form:

ID-size photo of applicant
ID/passport copy of applicant
ID/passport copy of applicant's parent/guardian
Access arrangement evidence (if requested)

02. Select Your Subjects

Review the Cambridge Guide to Making Entries to choose your examination subjects and correct option codes before completing the registration form.

03. Submit Your Registration

Complete the ESCA Private Candidate Cambridge Exam Registration Form. Once submitted, the ESCA team will contact you with the next steps.
